Balloting for contested seats on Neighborhood Councils in the Northwest Valley began Thursday andcontinue Saturday.
At Northridge Middle School, 107 stakeholders signed-in to vote, New England Town Hall style, in a real demonstration of grass-roots democracy. Of the 95 Neighborhood Councils in Los Angeles, about 88 are voting for new board members this year.
