LASAN’s Sewer Lateral Financial Assistance (Rebate) Program
Sewer lateral lines connect to a main sewer line, which runs below City streets, and is the responsibility of the City to repair and maintain. It is the responsibility of the property owner to maintain and repair the lateral line.
The rebate program is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications must meet specific criteria and have supporting documentation. Rebates will be available until annually allocated funds are exhausted. All property owners who own residential, multifamily, commercial, and/or industrial property, and are in good standing with their sewer service charge fees paid to the City of Los Angeles, are eligible to apply for these rebates. The CCTV rebate, for eligible applicants, is up to $300, and the Repair rebate is up to $1,000, or both for $1,300.
